David qualified from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh with a B.Sc. (hons) in Podiatric Medicine in 1995 and worked continuously in the NHS for 21 years before going independent.
David covers all aspects of Podiatry including Personal Advice, Sports Medicine, Nail Surgery and routine Podiatry/ Chiropody. He has extensive knowledge in helping identify best treatment options, wound care, care for people with diabetes and others needing greater care. He also has good relationships with reliable orthotists specialising in orthoses and footwear for those in need.
When working in the NHS he specialised in Diabetes and High Risk care, inputting and designing treatment programmes, mainly into community and hospital settings, and was a team manager for a large group of Podiatrists providing Specialist Podiatry services.
David is HCPC registered, and enjoys an active life outside work, including running, keeping fit, amateur dramatics, and since age 5 he found his award winning feet through a keen interest in Ballroom and Latin American Dancing - a fun way to keep fit!
