Jen is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with the HCPC; she initially completed a BSc (Hons) Sports Science Degree at the University of Edinburgh before going on to complete her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at the University of Teesside.
Since qualifying she has worked within the NHS, with the British Army and within private practise.
Jen has worked extensively with runners, cyclists and endurance athletes and has formed part of the medical team at many endurance events including The Tour De Force Cycle and The Cent Col Challenge. She has also worked extensively with skiers, spending five winters working in the French Alps and providing physiotherapy services to the Danish Ski Schools during their training camps in Austria.
In addition to her clinical work, Jen regularly teaches Sports Taping, Kinesiology Taping and Sports First Aid courses; she was previously the manager for Athletes’ Angels England, Wales and Worldwide Endurance Events and Expeditions.
As a keen sportswoman, when not at work, you will find her out running, cycling, hill walking or skiing.
