Irish Emma trained in Belfast, Northern Ireland as a Chartered Physiotherapist. She has always loved working with people and is completely obsessed with physiotherapy!
She has worked in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Australia specialising in sports injuries and musculoskeletal medicine. Emma has worked extensively with a wide range of athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds and has worked in private clinics and sports clubs. She has a particular interest in core stability, muscle imbalance and achilles tendinopathy.
Emma absolutely loves helping people resolve injuries and remains dedicated to progressing her learning and knowledge in the amazing field of the human body.
Emma joined Achilles Heel as a physiotherapist and soon shared Katie and Christine's dream of having professional treatment rooms in the back of the shop.
Emma also has a mad schedule as a busy mum, business owner and physiotherapist. She loves a challenge and has worked hard to provide her clients with effective and efficient treatment. Emma always believes that anyone who comes to the clinic should be treated “like a member of your family” and she strives to ensure that anyone who visits the clinic leaves feeling satisfied and happy with the service they receive.
A keen sportswoman herself Emma enjoys running, swimming and hill walking.
