Knee Pain

The anatomy of the knee joint is quite complex therefore identifying the exact source of the problem is important before treatment can be undertaken. Ligament injuries, locking, arthritic painful knees are all conditions that can occur through sporting injuries or the wear and tear of daily life. Physiotherapy can help with all of these conditions.

Anterior knee pain is a common sporting injury and may be associated with maltracking of the patella. Runners knee or Iliotibial Band Syndrome is another common running injury with pain often being felt along the lateral aspect of the knee. It is usually associated with overuse or a sudden increase in mileage.

It is down to Iain that I managed to run the Loch Ness Marathon in a PB time, with not a hint of achilles pain or discomfort.

Iain’s physiotherapy sessions and guidance have helped me get through all manner of issues
