What is Reflexology?

Reflexology can be traced back to 2330 BC in ancient Egypt as well as India and China. This complimentary therapy is widely accepted in the UK and recognised by the NHS, many GP's and hospices to improve well being and promote relaxation.  Reflexology involves the application of pressure to specific reflex points on the hands and/or feet, thereby improving blood circulation and improving relaxation. In our busy lifestyles stress and anxiety have a major role to play and reflexology can be a great method to help manage these symptoms.

Reflexology appointments typically last 45-50 minutes. Our therapists would usually recommend that a course of 4-6 weekly treatments is considered however the frequency of treatment can be discussed with your therapist in accordance with your particular needs.
